Memories tend to just pop up

This week has been so exhausting. I'm not sure if it's because I haven't really had a weekend to lay around in two weeks or what, but I'm ready for this weekend. I have 0 plans and I excited for it. Of course I have to clean and do laundry, but nothing major. I have to go to target and Athleta to return/exchange, but that's it. I'm also starting to like being alone again. Which is weird.

Look at this really weird picture I found while bored at a doctors appointment with my client:

I'm really enjoying the newest Panic! Cd. It's Frank Sinatra, big band, and pop and drugs all at the same time.

Also, this weekend Marissa was talking about how her mom and aunt drink cardamom tea (well, the way they do it is more like cardamom water) so I thought I'd get some. My lazy self ordered some off Amazon and I had some today. There are a lot of health benefits like lowering your blood pressure. The last few times I've been to the doctor, my blood pressure has been sorta high and both my PCP and gynecologist keep telling me I'm nervous. Which annoyed me because I've never been nervous to go to the doctor in my life and I'm in doctors offices all the time with my clients, so I don't really think that's it. Anyway, since I've been super anxious randomly this past year, I always feel like it's really high. So this cardamom helps with that. I think it helps with your stomach and depression and a bunch of other stuff. So I'm super tight right now and it hurts to sit up and I did some yoga when I got home, but not much. I drank some of this tea and I feel a bit better. Like maybe 45%. It might be a permanent thing. I was reading about grinding it with coffee beans and I might try that cause you can't take away my coffee!

Only heartache and heartbreak and gin made of tears.

So this weekend I actually did something fun! Who thought that would happen? I've finally made it back to my old apathetic self, so everyone should be happy. My stages of grief took longer than necessary, but they're done so I was able to enjoy myself and not get pissed about every little thing that annoys me.

Anyway, it was a long weekend filled with driving and some unfortunate weather, but it was good. I went to get drinks with some coworkers at some gross bar in Springdale, which is near where I work. I got a Yuengling (3.25!!!!! So much money) because the 2x kicked. So that was the first sign. And we got carded... It's been a while since that's happened. But I missed the actual festivities because I had to leave early as Marissa was picking me up at 6:45. So she came to pick me up and we drove to her parents house in Ohio to drop off Alaina. We left her parents at 8:45 and then drove on to Columbus. Well, a city 30 minutes outside of Columbus whose name I don't recall. We got to her sisters house around 11 and just hung out with her sisters boyfriend because her sister was at work overnight. We watched tv then went to bed. Woke up, got ready and went to this gigantic mall. I was in a shoppers paradise. We went to the Apple Store to get Marissa a new phone, but no one believed the guy so we drove to the Verizon store. I was really hungry at this point because I only had a donut for breakfast and that was like 7 hours ago. She got her new phone and we went off in search of food. We went into downtown Columbus and there is this area called German Village, which I've always wanted to see. It was the cutest place EVER. cobblestone, brick houses, trees in bloom. Despite having to run through the rain, I still loved it. The two places where we tried to eat had wait times over an hour so we ended up going to this place closer to the concert. I didn't know one song that was played at the concert, but it was still fun. I only knew Best Coast, who I don't even like very much. They have one song I like, "Our Deal", but they didn't play it. Oh well. We just drove home afterwards cause we were all so beat, and fell right asleep. We just got home a few hours ago. Well, I did. Marissa still had to drive back to her house.

Wow those are not good pictures. We were actually pretty close.

And that was my weekend. So much fun.
